I spent the last three days doing or watching improv with people from around the country. It was amazing fun, but now I'm back at work with a head that fills like a balloon. How was your weekend? Scott |

I spent Saturday in Pennsylvania for a family reunion. I took the opportunity to visit the mall branch of Phantom in the Attic, but was seriously disappointed in their selection of back issues - hardly any pre-1970 comics in stock! Didn't buy much there... I sent out a copy of The Signifiers #1 to Barry Southworth in CT today. I'm spending the rest of the day formatting the first 64 panels of The Mesh into a 32-page comic book. |

Michael-yeah, I guess Barry had ordered it from Previews but his comic shop never got it or never actually ordered it! I know he liked my copy! Scott-thanks again for that great job you did on the cover of *PPFSZT! #28! It's almost ready to be sent to Ka-Blam as of this writing. Currently working on SATYR #11 and M.E. PRESENTS! #1...plus wrapping up the script for CHASE! #12. See you all later. Jim M |

Glad to hear Barry liked it. I sent Diamond as many copies as they asked for. Based on the copies of The Signifiers I'm selling online, in record and book stores and at conventions, it's clear there's interest in the book and that retailers could have sold more copies if they'd ordered more (or, in many cases, any at all). |
